The Hawne Tavern is a small and popular FREE HOUSE just off the main road between Halesowen and Stourbridge, in fact this is, in local parlance, a bostin' (real gem of a) Black Country pub. Ray, the landlord, provides a variety of regular beers and ciders with up to six guest REAL ALES all kept in supurb condition. Wholesome and delicious home cooking is also available during the early evenings. | ![]() |

The house has two rooms :- THE LOUNGE :- comfortable and warm is similar in style to the 'front parlours' of the many Victorian houses with which it is surrounded. The 'old' fireplace is opposite the bar. No sophisticated distractions such as a juke-box or electronic gaming machines are in this room - it is a room for good old-fashioned conversation. THE BAR :- larger than the Lounge, this room contains a pool table, dart board, telephone, juke-box, TV and a 'bandit'. Though basic, it too is very comfortable and welcoming. |

From Halesowen Queensway Bus Station catch the No 9 bus bound for Stourbridge. Alight at the second stop, almost opposite Short Street. Walk the length of Short Street and 'The Hawne Tavern' is right in front of you. If you come by car please remember, do not drink and drive. | ![]() |
